Embassy of Peru in Indonesia and Can's Gallery are proud to present "Shipibo-Konibo: Portraits of My Blood" a photography exhibition by the talented young photographer David Díaz, offering an immersion into the daily life and rich cultural heritage of the Shipibo-Konibo community of the Peruvian Amazonia.

David Díaz, born in the Shipibo-Konibo region, has made a significant impact in the world of photography despite having acquired his first camera only eight years ago. Díaz draws inspiration from pioneering artists like Martín Chambi, blending their influence with his deep connection to his Amazonian roots. In 2021, he was awarded a scholarship by the” Amazon Rainforest Journalism Foundation of the Pulitzer Center”, recognizing his contributions to photojournalism.
