In September 2025, CAN’S Gallery will mark its 25th anniversary—a rare and meaningful achievement in Indonesia’s visual art scene. For two and a half decades, CAN’S Gallery has remained steadfast in its mission: to support, exhibit, collect, and promote Indonesian contemporary art, both locally and internationally.

As one of the longest-standing private galleries in the country, CAN’S Gallery has played a key role through curated exhibitions, participation in major art fairs, collaborations with auction houses, art publishing, and sustained artist representation. The gallery’s legacy is driven by the deep commitment and passion of its founders, Mr. Tommy Sutomo and Mrs. Inge Santoso, who have dedicated themselves to building an ecosystem where Indonesian artists can thrive.

This 25th anniversary is not just a celebration—it is a reflection of the gallery’s contribution to art and culture, and a moment to honor its journey.
